Christopher Marona
Hi, I'm Christopher Marona. Welcome to my profile!
Bio for Christopher Marona.
My first camera was a plastic Kodak Instamatic. I took it everywhere. It didn't last long. I am a storyteller. Photographer - it's what I do best. Author - see "Colorado Cowboys". Educator - teaching photography classes and workshops since 1998. Publisher - published a line of fine art lithographs and custom prints from 1994 to present. Weird thing: experienced as a professional witness in Federal Copyright court. Work well with others. When it comes to photography, I've done the whole kit and kaboodle: pre-production meetings with clients, agencies, design team to establish goals, budgets, travel, models, wardrobe, equipment rentals, directing, lighting, posing, permits, post, and, of course, shooting. I believe that quality commercial photography is more than a pretty shot. It must educate, inform, transport, inspire and, ultimately, motivate a viewer to an action. I don't care who gets credit. I just want to make powerful images. I am motivated by my client's needs - not mine. I live for challenge. I am currently seeking new challenges. I play first base for the local fire department softball team. Why? I love softball, I love the team and, just like in my business, I'll stretch to make good things happen. I love connecting with professionals from all walks of life. Reach out and talk about photography, advertising or even softball! Specialties - Light - light in the studio, light on location, light on your face, light your campfire, lighten your load, pretty much light anything in any place. Architecture, resort and hospitality, to include food and lifestyle. Experienced in on and off figure fashion. Expert in location photography.
